Daddish 180 · a personal experiment

Every slice of life wants your attention. All at once.

I’m Thomas, a busy dad trying to build better days using AI. Over the next 180 days, I’m going to see how much of the planning, remembering, and mental load of modern life AI can clear for me — so I can give more time and attention to what really matters.

The experiment

The Daddish 180

One experiment, run on one real family’s life — mine. For 180 days I’m keeping field notes on what I tried, what it cost, and what actually helped.

  1. Measure

Look honestly at the days as they are: where the time goes, what gets dropped, and what all that remembering actually costs.

  2. Modify

Let AI and a few practical tools take on more of the planning and remembering, then work on one habit at a time with Franky. Keep what earns its place; drop what doesn’t.

  3. Master

Give the useful changes enough ordinary weeks to become normal. If something helps beyond my house, share it.

Notes over claims. The field notes will include real numbers and the failures — nothing gets shared because it sounds good, only because it survived the calendar.

In the lab

Some of the things I’m building.

Daddish is the workshop around the experiment. These are a few ways I’m trying to make real parts of my week easier. They’re works in progress, not finished products. If they earn a place in my life during the 180, I’ll keep building them so they can be useful on their own.

  • Daddish Food · with Dash

    Let Sunday carry the week.

Dash is the food planner I’m building around a calmer idea: prep a few useful things once, then turn them into dinners throughout the week instead of starting over every night.

Illustrated prepared chicken, vegetables, grains, sauces, and finished dishes arranged as one flexible weekly food system.
Sunday prepUseful components, not seven separate starts.
  • Daddish Fitness · with Coach Mo

When the day moves, the workout moves.

Lifting, running, and everything in between, planned around a real family week. When the day moves, the session adapts instead of disappearing. Coach Mo is the training coach I’m building to make that call.

  • CampCover

    Summer, covered.

Every spring, the same job: which kid is covered which week, whether the camp details and costs check out, and which registration opens at 8:00 am on a day you’d better not miss. CampCover is the board I’m building so that job stops living in my head.

  • Daddish Golf · with Bo

    One clear call.

Bo is a coach for the adult-onset, no-lessons golfer — starting with me. No swing-tip feed, no stat dashboard. Just an honest answer to the only question that matters at the range:

“I have 40 minutes and a bucket of balls. What do I do?”
